The Mason Loft Condos are in Laramie’s Historic District, across the street from the beautiful Ivinson Mansion property, home to the Laramie Plains Museum and its facilities. The Stable condos are great home away spaces if you are holding a wedding at the mansion, attending events at the museum or the University of Wyoming, or taking advantage of Laramie’s many impressive recreational opportunities. The Mason Loft Condos sit within easy walking distance of UW and historic downtown.
Both units include a cozy living room, (great for relaxing in the evenings and entertaining guests) two bedrooms, a loft with two beds and a half bath makes 2.5 baths throughout these condos. Linens, hair dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, washer-dryers, A/C, TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi are all provided.
Each unit sleeps six comfortably. Another added bonus is that the condos are very quiet with little or no street noise detectible. Please note that guests must be able to climb stairs as the bedrooms are on the upper levels.

History of the Mason Loft Condos
This handsome stone structure was originally built by Theodore Bath in 1883 as a stable. In 2009 the Laramie Plains Museum acquired this building, which we referred to then as The Stone House. Laramie Plains Museum members wanted to save and repurpose this wonderful historic structure. One member in particular, Mary Kay Mason, helped make this dream become a reality by personally writing letters to raise funds and bequeathing her estate to the Stone House Project. When it was acquired, the stable had been retrofitted into four individual apartments, which the museum continued to rent through August 2015. Repairs in the distressed apartments were so often needed the Laramie Plains Museum Board of Directors realized the necessity of more complete renovations. In a creative decision, the Board decided to create two upscale apartments that could provide sustainable income for the not-for-profit museum. Renovations began in September 2015 with a complete gutting of the inside of the building and installation of a new roof. New plumbing and electrical, HVAC, walls, insulation, staircases, everything from the ground up was tackled by museum volunteers, to the tune of more than 5,000 hours of volunteer talents & time! Ron Olsen, Dave Van Oss, and Joyce Powell served as inspiring project leaders. We still marvel at the many and varied talents our community volunteers brought to the transformation of these newly named Mason Loft Condos. We are excited and proud to offer them as either home away or vacation rentals in Laramie’s historic district.
